The clue is in the name… it’s hidden in a converted attic space at Ivy Elizabeth in the heart of Glossop. It’s away from the noise, chaos and busyness of the outside so you can completely switch off and reset through breath and movement.

To top it off, it’s heated so as soon as you enter you will feel an inviting warmth as you lay on your mat. We have a mixture of day-time and night-time classes and a variety of teachers, all offering you a different experience. See highlights for an up-to-date timetable of the classes on offer.

Heated Flow Yoga

This heated class incorporates simple flowing sequences to warm up the body, as well as movements focusing on alignment, strength, balance and flexibility. Each class allows you to arrive and enjoy quiet stillness, move the body and burn off excess energy and then end with a period of relaxation to help you wind down as you prepare for your evening.

Expect to get warm and sweaty. As well as calming your mind, your will work your body. This class is appropriate for all levels.

Yin Yang Yoga

Our Ying Yang class combines the slow-paced Yin postures, that are held for longer periods of time, with an invigorating full-body flow sequence (the Yang in the Yin Yang) that will work your muscles through movement and breath.

Slow Flow

This heated class combines gentle stretching with vinyassa and breath work. You’ll experience a strengthening yet relaxing practice to nourish mind and body.

Candlelit Yin

Come and join us for a nourishing evening of candlelit Yin yoga. You will hold poses for 3-5 minutes for a deeper stretch; targeting your deep connective tissues. This slower, more meditative style of yoga gives you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body.

Hot Vinyasa Flow

A heated dynamic practice suitable for all levels. Combining traditional postures with intuitive flows, you will feel the heat building in your body.

Sound Baths

Our sound baths will help you into a state of balance and harmony. You’ll leave feeling calm, peaceful and replenished.

Treat yourself to some you time.

At the Attic Studio we host regular events such as an afternoon of mindfulness and movement which includes a posture clinic with Q&A, guided meditation, Vinyasa yoga flow followed by a sound bath to a Yin practice. Contact us or visit our schedule to discover upcoming events.
